The Future Forests Schools Network
Encouraging young people to engage with ecological restoration and woodland creation is an essential ingredient for creating a greener future for everyone.
The Future Forests Schools Network (FFSN) helps schools to pool resources and inspire each other to get involved in woodland creation activities.
See the list of schools we have below...
- Alverton Primary School, Penzance, Cornwall
- Bredon Hill Academy, Evesham, Worcestershire
- Roundhill Primary School, Bath
- The Grammar School at Leeds, Yorkshire
If you run a tree planting / growing or rewilding activity at your school please get in touch and show other schools what is possible. Do you have any resources you're able to share?
Do you run an initiative that gets school groups involved in tree growing tasks? Promote your work by getting your affiliated schools to add themselves to the site.
Would you like to run practical woodland creation activities within your school? Look at the list above to see what others have been doing and see if anyone has resources or knowledge they can share. Join in with the conversation with the Future Forests SCHOOLS community. Contact one of the Umbrella initiatives that work with schools.
Please ensure you do background checks before entering into agreements with schools listed above. The FFN holds no responsibility for the actions of those listed on the site.
